Rhodes Stadium is the home of the Elon Phoenix football team, located on the Elon University campus about 5 miles east of Burlington on NC-100/Williamson Ave. The Phoenix compete in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and play their home schedule from September through November, with some of the most energetic game-day atmospheres in the FCS. Charter buses for Elon home games approach via Williamson Ave, with large-vehicle overflow parking directed to Lot F off Williamson Ave and visitor parking in Lot P off Haggard Ave. Elon commencement in mid-May is one of the highest-demand weekends of the year for Burlington-area charter buses — book well in advance for either event.
